Denver, CO (July 26, 2006) – Hot off the heels of receiving one the coveted Innovative Product Awards from the Colorado Garden & Home Show, Parasoleil™ , the original Copper Shade Panel™, make a second showing in Denver at the 2006 Parade of Homes from July 29 to September 4th.
Uriah Bueller, creator of these panels, grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas. Bueller, who graduated from Buhler High School in ’92 moved to Chicago for his undergraduate degree at Wheaton College and then to Boulder, Colorado with his wife, Diane, and her three children. Bueller remebers his involvement with Union Valley 4-H Club as his first training in business as an entreprenuer. Uriah represented Kansas in 4-H horticulture for his organic gardening called, “Bueller’s Farmacy.” Since his move to Boulder, Uriah has pursued his passion for art and study of architectural sculpture to arrive in 2006 with the unveiling of Parasoleil. In 2004, Uriah hired his nephew, Chad Dillon, who is also originally from Hutchinson. Dillon graduated from Nickerson High School in in 2000 to study aviation and aircraft fabrication. He and Dillon, in the UB Arts studio, work in copper and steel, working together on these panels and many other architectural installations.
These exquisitely detailed copper panels are designed to create shade, privacy and decoration. Parasoleil is available in several patterns, all which minimize exposure to harmful UV light, rain, and snow. These panels are virtually maintenance free and blend well with any style of home, yard, and commercial space.
In addition to transforming a conventional space into an exceptional living area, each Copper Shade Panel is signed by the artist himself. The price per 3’ X 8’ panel ranges from $450 to $500, depending on the design. Custom shapes, sizes, and patterns are also available.
The Parade of Homes will take place in the community of Reunion at 104th Avenue just west of Tower Road in northeast metro Denver. This year features six extraordinary homes created by some of the region's finest custom builders, landscapers and interior designers. Parasoleil will be featured at the Villa Ispirata, a Tuscan inspired 5,000 square foot home built by Pinnacle Peak Custom Homes.
“I am thrilled to be part of this event. It attracts both professionals and consumers to experience the latest technology, innovation and creativity in home building,” says Bueller. “The 8-panel Parasoleil design we installed for the Parade of Homes is a pattern called, Flanigan, which best compliments the European feel of this incredible home.”
Launched in 2006, the original Copper Shade Panel, Parasoleil, is available directly from UB Metal Arts (www.UBMetalArts.com) or through local landscape designers, builders, and architects. In addition to Parasoleil, UB Metal Arts is also displaying several pieces of its unique metal furniture and copper sculpture for indoor and outdoor use.
