Copper

Copper develops a natural patina, no corrosion, patina protects enviroment, thin, malleable, strong, 95% recycled content, highly recyclable, long lifespan, no maintenance, and anti-microbial.  Best uses: decorative shade and canopy, architectural accent, non-theft areas for artistic design.

Raw Copper

Copper is thin, strong, and beautiful in all circumstances. The specific micro-climate of the installation site will determine whether the patina develops in the direction of a dry bronze or turquoise verdigris. Patinas can be pushed in a certain direction with sculpture-grade chemicals, but the raw copper will start to change on its own within 3 months.

Steel

90% recycled content, structural. Best uses: indoor use to prevent rust, outdoor use with maintenance.

Raw Steel

Steel is industrial, structural, and always will want to rust - there's just no way around it. It can be painted, welded, sealed, oil-rubbed, and oxidized to accelerate the rusting process. This is a very versatile material - just don;t use it for shade.
